I want to break free!

Well, little Sabbath, as we all know, is a little rebel. That means he also can not understan why the heck he is supposed to stay inside our place and can not leave to explore the exciting "outdoor" world. In fact i do let him from time to time to satisfy his couriosity, plus i find it a bit unfair to keep them only inside. So, under my supervision of course, he can run around in the hall and see what is up- or downstairs. Getting in and out when we dont have the time for so much fun, is getting a bit of a struggle tho.
2 days ago i was finally able to find one of those bottles with which you can spray water on for example flowers. Or in our case naughty cats. I really love this way of "education", cause you dont have to shout or similar. They really learn fast and at some point you just have to show them the bottle and they get the point. Extremly helpful when teaching them not to enter a specific room or to stop biting toes.
I get the feeling tho that Sabbath is working on some kind of water resistance. Today he stayed with me in the bathroom and even jumped into the bathing tube when i had my shower, while the water was not on.
All in all we are doing fine and when he has his relaxed moments he can be a really nice and cuddly kitty. But seeing him now i realize how lucky i been have with my Angie in terms of fierceness and disobedience. She is my Lady :)

You are no match for me...

Oh my god, its the devil!

Yea, i am talking about cute little Sabbath with the blue eyes (that are not so blue anymore by the way). He is a hunter, a predator and the lurker below anything he fits. He attacks innocent toes as well as (not so innocent) hands. Sometimes it might seem that it is time to call the exorcist to have that demon in him removed. No matter how many times he is being defeated and pushed back, he keeps attacking. When he grows up i see dark times for Angie coming.
But at the end of the day he is still my cute baby and i love him to bits ;) Enjoy the new pictures in my gallery!

A weekend at the Summerhouse

So, last weekend we did it. We took both of our cats to the summerhouse in Nea Makri. We wanted to spend some time in better air and calmer surroundings ;) The drive there was calm. I had planned to have the small one on my lap and Angie being in the transportation bag, but it turned out just the other way around. The lady went crazy in the bag and was much more relaxed when she could sit on my lap and look out of the window. Sabbath just slept thru the whole drive (like 45 minutes), so did not care much about anything.
When we arrived there and i put the toilet on the floor i saw how small it was for Angie and started to feel really bad. I just brought Sabbaths toilet, but somehow didnt expect it to be THAT small.
At first everything was fine. Sabbath was playing around the chair on the veranda and Angie was sitting in the door of the house, that i had in my view when i was outside. At some point she wanted to go more far, so i put on my shoes and followed her around. Thank god she did not try to climb on any tree! Later we did another walk on the leash thru the whole garden.
When we were away and during the night we had them locked in of course!
In the evening, attracted by smell of food, a horde of other cats came. Sabbath was really shocked (Angie was inside so she would not get a heart attack) and as he was tought by Angie, he was scared of the bigger cats, who were just curious.
The came close and sniffed at him, while he was backing up hissing. When more cats came i put him in the house tho.
The next day Angie was exploring the front of the house, where i could see her and suddenly George said: what is she doing there? I looked towards the gate and.. she was outside! Oh my god! Well on the road there a car passes like every hour or so, but still i wanted to get her back in as soon as possible. So we both went after her ... She was sneaking between the fences and the parked cars along and i tried to get pass her so i could catch her, but walking fast on the street. Luckly she didn't decide to dash forward. When i almost had her she turned around and ran towards George again. He caught her and i carried her home. Of course i wasnt mad at her (at least i didnt show it), but still she had to remain inside for the rest of our stay. We will see how we handle this the next time. Her being always on the leash is not a very attractive thought either.
George said his cats always walked around (also outside our garden) and always came back. But i think i would not have a calm second if Angie did that.
In general Sabbath is getting more courageous now and follows Angie around here, making her hiss and growl. Well in my opinion they have to deal with that themselves. I don't was to take any sides really.
Added more picutres in the gallery too!

Picture Update!

And new updates about the fungal skin infection of Angie. With the oral treatment and the shampoo it got a lot better! No new spots been discovered and the old ones start to grow over with hair.
Little Sabbath got a real toilet since yesterday and he uses is like a good cat should, altho he does have troubles to get in and out. But as he is growing everyday i doubt this is going to be a problem for long.
Since i only borrowed this one from work, we will get his own tomorrow and also i want to get him a leash!
Angie now relaxes too when she comes to cuddle, as long as the small one is not around. She had to watch helpless, when he started to eat her food! But she did not interfere. He mainly eats his dry food tho, but of course i still feed him milk with the bottle!
All in all we are doing great! I hope this stays like this, but i suppose that he is going to be a pain in the ass when he starts becoming more mobile!

Naughty Kitty

Yesterday the litte bugger actually peed behind Georges desk! Lucky him it was late already and i was too tired to really get pissed about it ;)
But he also ate his first little piece of ham and he manages to chew a bit of the canned food. Dry food is too hard still but he keeps trying! His main food is still the bottle though.
Also he climbs down from the couch now, which makes everything just a little more "interesing", however we did know that this time will come.
Since im mixing the milk for the bottle always with a bit of smashed dry food, his poop is starting to smell like "real cat" too.
He starts to play with the toys on the floor and i thik judging from the little scratches on my hands, he is going to be a tough fighter!
Will upload some new pictures soon and also we will try and make a new video!

The "real" stuff

Since yesterday im feeding Sabbath some in water soaked dryfood for kittens mixed with his usual milk in the bottle. This seems to work really well. He doesn't lick it from the plate yet tho, nevertheless i propose it to him everyday and thru night.
He goes to the "pee-place" more frequent now.
I let him run around free when i have time to watch his moves and he starts to explore the whole place. I already train him not to enter the bedroom (the young ones learn well ;) ). Angie is really curious but at the moment determined to not like him. I hope it will get better. If not i am thinking of finding a good place for him when he is old enough. Time will show...

I have a GENIUS as baby!

When i went today in the kitchen to make a new bottle for Sabbath i put him on the floor there. I had a small litter "plate" prepared for him. I could not believe when he went there, dig a bit in it, sat down and ... peed! All i did the last days was making him pee while he was sitting in the "plate". He even tried to cover it after!
